We were very pleased to learn yesterday that three films that we’ve produced have been accepted into the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.
An American Adventure: The Living Legacy of Jimmy Gentry, A Full House of Blessing, and The Terri Schiavo story (a two part television special for the Joni Eareckson Tada television show) will each be competing in the Documentary category.
We’ve attended the festival each of its first four years, winning a Jubilee Award in 2005 for A Journey Home. We’re looking forward to being in San Antonio again this year to be a part of this very well run event. Learn more about the festival here.
Fall Feasts

Several nights ago, a couple of Franklin Springs families gathered in the early evening for an Autumn celebration.
This week, the feasting will move indoors. While a little Fall color still lingers in Tennessee, the warmth of the sun in the picture below will now be provided by a roaring fire.
We pray that this Thanksgiving finds you and your loved ones with plenty of time to give plenty of thanks…

The Franklin Springs Family Hour is garnering positive feedback from it’s weekly airings on the NRB and SkyAngel networks. Here’s a few responses we’ve received lately…
“Last night was the first time the we watched (here in Florida) your program (Charlie Zahm). We enjoyed it so very much; what a joy to see all that you offer. God bless you for all your efforts to bring us family programming! Please continue!”
“I watched your program tonight on the NRB network, and in the lady’s actions and eyes I could see the love of God. Thank you for allowing His blessing to flow to me and my family.”
“I enjoyed your program tonight. There is very little to watch on the television these days. Thank you again for your series of programs.”“I just watched one of your films on SkyAngel about Mr. Gentry and it was wonderful!”
The 13 episodes will continue airing in primetime on Wednesday and Saturday nights through December. The episodes will then be re-aired beginning in January 2009.

Before a Franklin Springs DVD ever gets released, it often undergoes a rigorous screening process in front of demanding audiences (the family members of our production team).
We’re happy to report that when Mark took the new Nathan Clark George “Pull Up A Chair” home to screen, his young son/critic Isaac responded enthusiastically to this special film. Rumor has it that he’s requesting encore viewings.
We’re confident that the film will appeal not only to 17 month olds, but the entire family. Read about “Pull Up a Chair” and view a trailer here…
