In The Field

Tuesday, July 31, 2007

Location shooting continues to travel us to scenic settings around the country, and we’re taking advantage of advancing technologies by capturing these environments on High Definition Panasonic cameras (shooting on P2 cards - not videotape).

D.P. Mark Schlicher shoots the new Panasonic HPX500 on the streets of historic Annapolis, with the Maryland state capital in the background.

Nathan Bollinger uses the Panasonic HVX200 to photograph the U.S. Naval Academy.

The HPX 500 on the Chesapeake Bay…

...and at a homeschooling house in Texas.

The crew flanks Ken Carpenter and his son, Logan (who’s receiving training in High Definition film production, along with a homeschool geography lesson).

CHARLIE ZAHM DVD REPORT

Friday, June 22, 2007

We continue to receive encouraging response from our new Charlie Zahm DVD

“Charlie and his very talented musicians are such a delight to watch and listen to. The film does such a good job of capturing the spirit of the ‘live’ show. This is the way to truly enjoy the music of this fine performer.”

“… you simply couldn’t ask for a more marvelous production that shows the essence of the timeless gift inherent in Celtic America! You shouldn’t miss Charlie’s DVD...”

Franklin Springs founder Ken Carpenter and his family were with Charlie again at the Jamestown Quadricentennial Celebration in Jamestown, Virginia earlier this month. Below is a picture of the Carpenter family with Charlie on location of the DVD taping in Maryland in March.
