Our travel with Compassion International to Peru this week has exposed us again to the warmth and generosity of Christians in South America. Trips to Ecuador the last two years were rich in fellowship; this trip has been no different. The children have continued to enthusiastically welcome us…
They’ve performed for the group Compassion put together for this trip…
Security has never been too far away…
And perhaps the most rewarding time has been home visits. Below, Leigh and Shelley from Point of Grace visit with Shelley’s sponsored child. The time of sharing with the father and the other siblings in the home about the critical value and worth of family, and the concluding prayer with the family is an experience those of us present will never forget.
